For those of you who already follow my blog Do Not Annoy The Writer, you will no doubt know much about me. For those of you who are just discovering me, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Eleanor Parks. I am writer, journalist and poet, and now, it seems, a photographer. I am the author of four books thus far, namely Killing For Capone, Charlie: The Final Word: Mine For The Taking, Charlie: The Final Word: Tortured and Are You There, Dad?, which is a book of poetry, published in conjunction with my Dad, and written under my poetry pseudonym of Rona Lee Parks. I am also a photographer, although this is something I have only recently sought to publicize, given the fact that I have always considered myself to be a writer. When my husband told me that “it was OK to have as many strings to my bow as you like”, only then did I think that others may like to see my photographical work as well as my written work.
Outside of my work, I am the wife of a wonderful man, human mother to 12 cats and 15 birds, and caretaker of four wild hedgehogs who come to our garden for supper every evening. I currently live in Brecht, Belgium, but have future plans to move to the country I love above all others: Italy.
So, now that we know each other a little better, why not stay awhile and amble around my world. You never know, you might just like it!
