Blood Moon Eclipse

On September 28, 2015, the world (well, certain parts of it) got to witness what was termed a “Blood Moon Eclipse”. This was a lunar eclipse at the time of a Super Moon (when the moon is at its closest point to the earth). It is commonly termed a “Blood Moon” due to Rayeigh Scattering, which gives the full moon a blood red hue. Here in Belgium, the moon had more of an orange tint that a blood red hue, but I’m still happy with the shot.
