The Morning After The Storm

This shot featured on my sister blog, Do Not Annoy The Writer. There had been yet another thunderstorm overnight, beginning at around 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. and continuing, seemingly, all night. At around 7 a.m., as I stepped outside to feed the birds, I noticed a spiderweb stretched across one of my bushes. It was bejewelled with raindrops and looked absolutely stunning in the early morning light.
